Tuut sie ottamaan jotakin? on esitys kodista ja kodin menettämistä. Haastatteluihin pohjautuva teos etsii eri syistä ja eri aikoina kotinsa jättämään joutuneiden ihmisten kokemuksista jotakin yhteistä ja jaettua. Voiko Karjalan evakon ja Ukrainasta sotaa paenneen ihmisen kokemuksista löytyä jaettu kosketuspinta?
Yhteisöllinen esitys koostuu kahdesta osasta. Ensimmäisessä esityksellisessä osassa työryhmä jakaa yleisön kanssa keräämiään tarinoita ja kokemuksia. Toisessa osassa esityksen osallistujat pääsevät itsenäisesti tutustumaan kerättyihin esineisiin, sävelmiin ja resepteihin sekä pääsevät myös itse jakamaan kirjoittaen ja piirtäen ajatuksiaan kotiin liittyen. Esityksen lopuksi syödään ja juodaan yhdessä ja jaetaan reseptejä ja ruokaan liittyviä muistoja. Tarjolla on esityksen teemaan liittyvää pientä syötävää, jossa erityisruokavaliot on huomioitu.
Työryhmä kannustaa kaikkia osallistujia tuomaan mukanansa itselleen tärkeän, kodista muistuttavan reseptin tai ruokamuiston.

A warm welcome to the Tuut sie ottamaan jotakin? (Would you like something to eat?) performance!
Tuut sie ottamaan jotakin? (Would you like something to eat?) is a performance about home and losing home. Based on various interviews, the work seeks to find something collective in the shared experiences between people who have had no choice but to leave their homes. For example could Carelian evacuees and Ukrainian refugees have some shared focal point?
Performance in Turku Tehdas Teatteri Jokistudio Fri 14.4. – Sun 23.4.
In autumn of 2021, the working group made of theatre and dance professionals from Helsinki, gathered together to reflect on questions of home and loss of a home. During the working process the theme has become even more topical due to the current state of the world. The topic is relevant to the makers through their personal family histories. In the research phase they met people from different ages and backgrounds who had experienced loss of a home or had intergenerational trauma of losing a home. In these meetings experiences, stories, memories, objects, melodies, pictures and recipes that reminded of home were collected. Based on this collected material, the working group has created a performance which takes place in Hamina in March. Another six performances will happen in Tehdas Teatteri, Turku in April 2023.
The community focused performance consists of two parts. In the first performative part the working group shares the collected stories and experiences with the audience. Second part gives the participants a chance to get to know the collected materials independently, while also sharing their own thoughts on the concept of home by writing and drawing. At the end of the performance we will eat and drink together, sharing recipes and memories connected to food. The working group encourages all the participating audience members to bring along a home or food related memory that means a lot to them.
