Tehdas Teatteri is the most important independent theatre in Turku, an exciting hub for new work and one of the main stages for new Finnish puppetry. The wild and daring Tehdas was founded over 20 years ago and is based in Manilla, on the eastern bank of the river Aura near the Föri.

From the theatre:
If you want, you can make a ticket reservation by contacting our theatre. You can call us 050 412 2344 from Monday to Friday during our office hours 10-15. Or you can send us an email at liput@tehdasteatteri.fi. Please make your reservations in advance.

Ticket sales and our bar open an hour before the show starts. Reserved tickets should be claimed half an hour before the show starts.

We do not sell tickets at the theatre at other times. If needed, collecting of tickets can be arranged separately (e.g. in the case of group tickets).

Ticket prices:
 The prices are mentioned alongside each show. Ticket prices vary from production to production.

Discounts:
 Our discount groups are students, pensioners, unemployed, and people carrying out their military service or non-military service for the state. Please show us your discount card when you claim your tickets. Please mention the discounts when you are doing the ticket reservation.

Payment:
 You can pay for the tickets with cash, bank card or Visa Electron. We also accept the following vouchers: Kulttuuri, Virike and Tyky Kuntosetelit. You can also pay with Smartum and E-passi apps. Ask for a group discount! teatteri@tehdasteatteri.fi A group reservation has to be confirmed 3 weeks prior to the show.

Our theatre resides in Manilla - an old yellow factory complex transformed to a hub of theatre, puppetry, dance and visual arts. Manilla is located on the eastern bank of the river Aura, near the ferry Föri and the K-Supermarket Föri.

Walk into our courtyard and walk up the steps on the left, or you can use the ramp that starts at the back of the courtyard. Enter through a brown door and walk straight to our cozy lobby. In the lobby you find our bar, where you can refresh yourself with alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages and snacks.

Accessibility:
Our main entrance is accessible via a wide ramp. When using the ramp, you may need an assistant (Manilla, Itäinen Rantakatu 64 B). Personal assistants are welcome free of charge. We have an accessible toilet located next to the main entrance, clear pathways and a ramp for wheelchairs to the mainstage.

Our small stage Vintti has an accessible entrance via Vilhonkatu. The door is 900 mm wide and has a doorstep. The pathway is 810 mm wide from the narrowest point.

We don’t have an induction loop.

Tehdas Theatre operates mainly in Finnish, but many of the performances are in English or nonverbal. Unfortunately we don’t have a subtitle service.
